POS was built on a breakthrough—researching the scaling up potential of canola. Our work helped define Canada’s canola industry, establishing standards in oil and protein processing that shaped how the world sees this crop today. That legacy of innovation still fuels us as we continue to push boundaries in plant-based science and apply that knowledge to products within the marine world as well, bringing decades of expertise to modern-day ingredient challenges.

Our Facility
POS has eleven laboratories and six dedicated pilot plant processing areas to complete 54,400 square feet of pure innovation. Unique in North America, it’s equipped with fully functional conception-to-commercialization capabilities. With world-class equipment for extraction, fractionation, modification, refinement, drying, evaporation, separation, purification, and explosion-proof solvent handling, we’re capable of providing ingredient solutions globally from this location. The plant capabilities are backed by analytical and laboratory expertise and material management services located within the same facility.
